i have live 6 , m-audio 1010Lt audio card , am unable to configure ANY gear . if you cant help me troubleshoot , will you refer me to someone who might be able to help. thanks

am inputing digital drums , keyboards and sound modules , mics . guitars thru amps to 1010 Lt .
am unable to configure preferences correctly between Live and 1010 Lt .
seems straight-forward , however , without success .

Sat, October 20, 2007 - 11:56 AMyou've got to have your sources active (soundcard driver and program) before you start Live... you may need to have all of your channels needed on your soundcard program active, in order for them to show up in Live. I use the EMU 1616M, and have a software called Patchmix. I have to create channel strips which route the sound from thier sources to thier destinations... if I don't configure Patchmix correctly, I won't have the option in Live to use those channels. I don't know your software, so I can't advise you on it's configuration.
Perhaps you could be more specific of what's happening when you're trying to setup your preferences in Live, and on your soundcard program?
