Hmmm-I set all three- control surface, Input/output , MIDI dumped and everything was fine in terms controls. I did get some stutters and times when it got caught in a loop...

you have to reset your ports every time?
i am having a similar problem with my 25SL, where i have to open audio midi setup every time i want to use the novation, and delete it's icon and then turn on the keyboard. it's also tricky, as this doesn't always work, so i have to keep trying it until it finally works. extremely frustrating, and their tech support has had nothing useful to say about it.

in the automap manual it says to make sure your midi prefs are llike this:
control surface- select remote sl, input-remote sl compact port 2, output remote sl compact port 2

then down to the next section.........................track..........sync.........remote
input midi ports: remote sl compact (port 1)..... on..........off............on
....remote sl input(remote sl compact port 2).....on..........off............on
..............................remote sl compact (port 3)......off..........off............off
output midi ports:remote sl compact (port 1).....on..........on...........off
...............................remote sl compact (port 2).....off..........off............off
...............................remote sl compact (port 3).....off..........off............off


it works if some of the settings are changed. i dont quite know what the settings mean. i do know that i have it completely functional finally after changing these settings.
