ok, it's a bit of a long shot question...
has anyone here done a serious comparison of these programs?
i'm a fanatic about Tassman from AAS. i'm seriously thinking about taking the plunge into Live 7.
(i have tried out a light version in the past, ofcourse i like it!)
what i am considering is whether i want to get the Suite of just Live itself. i have tons of stuff (all bought, therefor supporting these excellent companies) and don't need most of the Suite. AAS is selling all their physical modeling stuff in a package deal which i am more inclined to buy than the Suite.
any comments, suggestions, or ideas?

thanks and keep on Liveing~

  • I've got the G-force Virtual String Machine
by M-Audio, which I like very much having
owned a variety of the hardware versions,
I am an Electric Violinist and have been
working my way through the specs on
Tension and so far feel it will be a good
tool for me, have not used String Studio
as I'm a live player and have always warped
my sound anyway with no holds barred,
and if I want a straight sound will simply
    do it myself...

I own the AAS suite. It's my main tool for synthesis. Theres not a better sounding virtual instruments in my book. I have had these before live teamed up with them..
Live can now have the same engines as the LL, SS, & UA. They just cut out the guis and built in FX.
AAS is having a special right now. I really like having the preset packs that they make/sell. I also enjoy the real interfaces and full control of the full plug ins. I would go with the full versions from AAS do to the sale right now.
