My various audio recordings in separate tracks within Ableton do not sync up. However when I play back different audio clips stored on my PC, they all sync up when played back in loop mode. Anyone got any idea why this is so? I've been searching everywhere on the net but found no answer and the manual doesn't talk abt my problem.

You didn't give mention of your system specs or audio interface, but it sounds like the recordings that you're making directly into live were recorded with some lag and probably need to have their 1st warp markers adjusted (or If they seem to start out in sync and then gradually fall out of sync as the clip loops then it's probably not a perfectly cut loop).
It's hard to say much else without more specifics.
