Re: Ableton and Novation remote sl compact auto map
Sun, August 24, 2008 - 12:39 PMHa ha! I, actually, bought the axiom 49... several months before going for the Remote SL25. The Axiom sits in the corner, in it's box. Maybe I'll have a studio to utilize it, someday. 2 octaves are pretty versatile, though! -

Re: Ableton and Novation remote sl compact auto map
Sun, August 24, 2008 - 2:31 PMI have had the axiom for some time now but still have not had the drive to get all my NI plug ins set up and mapped out. I just don`t have the drive or time anymore to deal with all that like I used to. I just want to make music. Hopefully with the ease of setup i can start getting my creativity flowing again instead of being stopped dead by technical issues. I admit it, I`m just friggin lazy.

Re: Ableton and Novation remote sl compact auto map
Thu, November 13, 2008 - 8:45 AMHave you had any latency issues with your remote sl? It seems like I read somewhere that these things would start lagging out after like 5 minutes in ableton. -

Re: Ableton and Novation remote sl compact auto map
Sun, November 16, 2008 - 12:11 PMno issues w/ latency, here... i'm running on a windows system... i don't know if that's a matter to consider. I've had problems w/ mac machines underpowering the usb ports, thus underpowering the midi controller. that may have something to do with it. I'm sure there's lots of factors involved in latency/cpu usage for audio processing. my machine is tuned for processing audio.
what/where did you hear about this latency issue?
