I'm not having fun. I hope someone can help me out.

I haven't done the whole reinstall bit as I am hoping there is something simple that I am missing here. Here's the skinny.

I recently purchased an external hard drive and was doing some transferring of files and moved my Live sets to the xHD (using g5 OSx 500gb/2g ram). Since, every time I open Live, I am asked to unlock and it asks for my serial number. Fine, I dig out the disks and enter the serial number (I even try it case specific) and I get an invalid message. I can cancel but Live works only in demo. I really don't know what else to say. If I do the uninstall>reinstall thing, I fear I will still get the same invalid serial message. I'm about to poop fire. Please help if you can.
